Searsport is located on Coastal Route 1 (Acadia Trail - Rte 3) just 5 miles north of Belfast, on Penobscot Bay, and 35 miles south of Bangor.

The Yardarm Motel is located on Coastal Route 1 in Searsport.

 Directions from Bangor International Airport:  (approx. 34 miles)

Exit Bangor International Airport turning right onto Union Street.  Follow Union Street to I95 South (approx. 1 mile)
Take I 95 south to Cold Brook Road exit.
Go Left at the stop sign, follow signs to Rt. 1A South
You will travel through Hampden (speed traps exist in this area)
You will travel through Winterport, Frankfort, Prospect, and Stockton Springs.
In Stockton Springs Rt. 1A merges with Rt. 1 South
Rt. 1 South into Searsport, watch for our sign on the right.

Directions from Portland Maine

Take I 95 north to Augusta. Take exit 113 to put you on Route 3. 
It's  44 miles to Belfast. At the intersection with Route 1, take a left  
and go north 6 miles to the Yardarm Motel on your left.
